ISO Certifications
As a mark of its quality and excellence, Politaş Ambalaj was awarded to two ISO certifications of ISO 22000 and ISO 9001.
The 3rd Factory
Politaş Ambalaj moved to its third factory Located in Ikitelli Organized Industrial Area, Istanbul. The area is strategically positioned with proximity to Ataturk International Airport.
The 2nd Factory
The company moved to its 2nd factory located in Hüseyinli, Istanbul built on 11.000m2 with 3000m2 closed area under one roof. This year also featured the first flexography machine.
Innovative Machines
Politaş Ambalaj has always been keen on keeping up with the latest technology. 1992 was no different, where two machines were purchased:
- First rotagravure printing machine
- First lamination and slitting machines
Stepping Abroad
Politaş Ambalaj's first export happened in 1991 to a client in Saudi Arabia. It was followed by clients from Germany and Santa Domingo.
The first factory
The family business opens its first factory in the heart of the European side of Istanbul in Merter. A strategic location between Ataturk International Airport and the city centre.
THE COMPANY comes to life
Politaş Ambalaj A.Ş. was officially launched as a separate entity. The name is a combination of the latin word ‘poli,’ which means more than one, and the founder family’s surname ‘Taş’.
THE ORIGINS
Originally, Politaş Ambalaj started with the launch of Tam Taş Makine San. Ve Tic. A.S. that specialized in production and trade of packaging machines.
